Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and inviting
- Perform detailed floor care, including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways and public spaces
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and supplies to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them immediately
- Follow established cleaning procedures using industrial cleaning equipment to ensure efficiency and high standards of hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and assist with linen management as needed
- Support hotel management with additional custodial tasks to uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles; hospitality experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment operation
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning products and safety protocols to ensure effective sanitation without hazards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Prior experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks comfortably
