Karst Stage is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team in beautiful Bozeman, Montana. Pay & Benefits
- $28.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications
- $9,000 Sign-On Bonus
- $1,000 annual tool allowance
- Relocation Assistance: Receive a $600 monthly housing stipend for your first year to help make your move to Bozeman easier.
- Please note: Relocation assistance is available only to candidates relocating for this position. Candidates are eligible to receive either the relocation assistance package or the $9,000 sign-on bonus—not both. Local candidates are encouraged to apply and remain eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines (Cummins and Detroit Diesel experience preferred)
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine vehicle inspections
- Repair and maintain brake, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and other mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and vehicle diagnostics
- Service HVAC systems (EPA Section 608 certification is a plus, but not required)
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain a CDL within six months of employment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC) and background check
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 100 pounds
- Stand for extended periods
- Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb as needed
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
