Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Material Preparation and Kitting
- Review work travelers and related documentation to determine required components, quantities, and sequencing.
- Retrieve, verify, and stage materials from designated inventory locations.
- Assemble component kits in accordance with job requirements and organizational standards.
- Ensure all kits are properly labeled, documented, and prepared for timely delivery.
Material Distribution
- Deliver completed kits to assigned workstations based on production schedules and priority levels.
- Monitor material levels at workstations and replenish as needed to prevent production delays.
- Communicate material shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns to supervisors or production leads.
Inventory Control and Documentation
- Perform routine material counts and assist with cycle counts as required.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Accurately record material movements in inventory management or ERP systems.
- Maintain documentation to support traceability and compliance requirements.
Operational Coordination
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, and planning personnel to ensure efficient material flow.
- Identify potential workflow issues and escalate concerns promptly.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to material handling, kitting, and workstation support.
Safety and Workplace Standards
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard‑free work areas.
- Participate in required safety training and promptly report unsafe conditions.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handling preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work travelers, job packets, and production documentation.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials in accordance with job demands.
