Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staffing, food service, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver high-quality service while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Manage shift schedules, coordinate staff assignments, and ensure smooth kitchen and front-of-house operations.
- Monitor food preparation processes, uphold food safety standards, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; perform cash handling duties with integrity.
- Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant management.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; adept at cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent leadership skills with supervisory experience in restaurant or hospitality settings.
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and kitchen management.
- Ability to manage inventory control effectively while maintaining quality standards.
- Skilled in staff training, interviewing potential team members, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Experience with shift management, budgeting, and food production processes in a hospitality or hotel environment is highly desirable.
