Administration Assistant (HR & Accounting)
REPORTS TO: General Manager, Assistant General Manager
BASIC PURPOSE: The Administration Assistant will assist with the day-to-day operations of our office by doing tasks such as filing paperwork, scanning invoices, preparing documents for meetings, and set up interviews for the GM/AGM
FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
TASKS MAY INCLUDE:
- Ordering Office Supplies
- Setting up interviews
- Assist in month-end reporting procedures
- Process accounts payable and receivables as needed
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks
- Prepare and submit customer invoices
- Code and post payments
- Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
- Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
- Check, verify and process invoices
- Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
- Maintain vendor files

- Must be guest-service oriented and work well in a team environment
When asked, must be willing to assist in other departments as the needs of the property arise, and as requested by a supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Appropriate, professional experience and presentation
- Computer skills required, including understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
Hearing/Vision/Speech:
- One-on-one communication with guests, supervisors, and coworkers is critical
- Must be able to receive, understand and give directions
- Must be able to clearly communicate property, company and contract information to clients
- Must have exceptional written and verbal skills, as well as ability to compose professional and articulate emails and written communication
- Must be able to understand, compile and submit reports in an efficient manner
Hours Required:
- Monday - Friday 35-40 hours a week 8/9am start time
- Must adhere to the time and attendance policies set forth by the company
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
