Shift: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm - Monday - Thursday
Duties
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Operate pallet jacks and clamp trucks to transport goods throughout the warehouse.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, moving products as needed to maintain workflow.
- Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and assist in stock management.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety within the distribution center.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets for shipping and ensure timely distribution of products.
Experience
- Employees will be required to wear white smock suits, and this area will have a "glue and acetone odor" to it.
- Previous experience in materials handling or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is advantageous, including experience with pallet jacks and clamp trucks.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, aiding in the understanding of equipment functionality and maintenance needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently and safely throughout the shift.
- Experience with warehouse management systems will enhance operational efficiency in this role.
