Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings based on customer preferences
- Maintain food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Support food production by managing high-volume pizza orders during peak hours
- Execute food preparation tasks such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food assembly with precision
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated according to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences in a lively restaurant setting
Qualifications
- Previous dietary aide or culinary experience preferred, especially in pizza or restaurant settings
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques like braising, poaching, grilling, and meal prep
- Experience with food safety management and sanitizing procedures in high-volume environments
- Knowledge of menu planning and recipe adherence to maintain consistency in quality
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, and food prep tools
- Background in fine dining or catering experience is advantageous but not required
- Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction
