Peraton is seeking an experienced systems Field Support Engineer to join our national intelligence program that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client’s global missions.
Work is performed at the customer site(s).
Responsibilities:

Provide expert and second-tier technical support and analysis to field engineers and technicians.

Provide technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of technical products, programs, and systems.

Test, train, and field support to customers regarding technical aspects of designated systems and services.

Provide expertise for the resolution of technical problems, troubleshoot products, and modify products to customer requirements.

Maintain network stability through advanced troubleshooting, timely resolution of incidents, and proactive maintenance to provide the maximum availability and optimal Mean Time to Repair.

Provide training to customers.

Partner with developers and engineers to reduce reoccurring incidents.

Answer questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of designated systems and services.

Review and develop technical documents.

Travel/TDY my be required CONUS and OCONUS as required to support the customer's mission
**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
