Job Summary
High profile, very active retired female employer is seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-time Live-in Housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in her beautiful home in Locust Valley, NY as well as her winter home in Florida. Candidate will handle all housekeeping duties together with extra help who work 3 days each week.
Accommodation in New York as well as Florida - Private room and bath; use of family car for work errands, shopping and driving employer.
Salary and Benefits

Schedule
- 5 days full time to include weekends.
- Flexible 2 days off each week. Most weeks days off will be Wednesday and Thursday with one weekend off each month.
- Must be willing to work Thanksgiving and either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and Easter Sunday if needed (with extra holiday pay)
References & Experience
- At least one reference from a non-family member and not a friend, but from a former employer where the applicant lived and worked in the actual home, not a separate building or apartment for at least 2 years.
Responsibilities
- General Household duties include laundry and keeping kitchen and pantry clean and organized.
- Applicant should enjoy light cooking and meal prep with employer who loves to cook.
- Applicant has use of family car for work errands, shopping and driving employer.
- Applicant must be friendly and comfortable when a family member visits and brings his/her dog.
Qualifications
- Happy disposition and strong work ethic.
- Experience in housekeeping and driving
- At least 15 years driving experience (gas and electric cars)
- Must be comfortable driving at night.
- Non-smoker (smoking prohibited both in the home or on property)
- Proficient in English
- US Citizen preferred or valid green card and social security number valid for work.
- Must be willing to travel with employer (mostly Florida) for approximately 2 months each year.
- Must be able to use stairs and lift up to 30 lbs including luggage while traveling.
Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
