Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association’s (HVCPA) Early Childhood Center has provided services to the Putnam County community for over 15 years. A community staple, the Early Childhood Center is a childcare program licensed by the Division of Child Care Services (DCCS) of NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) based in Brewster, NY.
The team is currently hiring for a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at our busy Brewster, NY location.
Primary responsibilities of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant include providing services to a pre-school and early intervention population as defined by the IEP. Additional duties may include:

Assisting clients in carrying out daily activities.

Monitoring performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement.

Collaborate with medical team to establish best health plans going forward.

Report on client progress.

Followup with administrative tasks.
Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
Active NYS licensure in Occupational Therapy
Compassion for patients and passion for working with vulnerable patient populations.
Pay range: $28.00 per hour
