Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care across diverse medical settings. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations, and manage treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and dermal fillers while maintaining sterile technique.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines—such as cardiology, gastroenterology, behavioral health, and emergency medicine—to coordinate care effectively.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of medical records, treatment notes, and billing information.
- Provide telehealth consultations to extend access to care for remote or underserved populations.
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, sonography, medical imaging, and specimen processing to inform clinical decisions.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for seamless documentation and data management.
- Proficiency in performing advanced procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, and ventilator care.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including CPT coding), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Skilled in managing acute pain cases, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, and behavioral health issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including teenagers, adults, and seniors.
- Competence in performing sterile procedures such as cyst removal and joint injections, Botox, Dermal fillers, or open to learning.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality while delivering compassionate patient-centered care.
