Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Service Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of a wide range of vehicles by performing essential maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct minor mechanical repairs including brake work, suspension checks, and other mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools
- Diagnose automotive issues utilizing automotive diagnostics equipment to identify problems accurately and efficiently
- Assist with vehicle inspections and safety checks to uphold quality standards and compliance regulations
- Support automotive service operations by handling tire services, wheel alignments, and other mechanical repairs with precision
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and execute repairs that meet dealership standards
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks and maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Prior dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and automotive systems
- Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques for accurate troubleshooting
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement procedures including oil changes and other routine maintenance
- Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs such as brake work, suspension repairs, and tire services
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
