No prior event management experience is required—we're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow.
What You'll Do as an Entry Level Charity Event Manager
- Assist in planning and executing community fundraising events that support meaningful nonprofit initiatives.
- Engage with attendees to share information about charitable campaigns, their mission, and the impact of community support.
- Coordinate event setup, logistics, and on-site activities to ensure a smooth and positive experience for participants.
- Build positive relationships with donors and supporters by answering questions and providing exceptional service.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet fundraising goals and maximize community participation.
- Maintain accurate records of event activities, donor interactions, and campaign progress as needed.
- Represent nonprofit partners with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm while encouraging community engagement and support.
Qualifications We Require in an Entry Level Charity Event Manager
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, public-facing environments.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and accept coaching.
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, events, or volunteer work is a plus but not required.
