Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Mechanic Assistant - Apprentices and be a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment, & industrial machinery. Duties
- Assist mechanics with diagnosing mechanical issues using schematics (hydraulic diagrams.)
- Support the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment such hydraulic presses.
- Use hand tools, power tools. (It will be a huge plus if you have skills on welding equipment.)
- Support the lifting and moving of heavy components safely during equipment repair or assembly projects. (crane operations)
Experience
- Previous experience working service departments or heavy equipment mechanics is highly preferred.(optional)
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques, welding processes, and the use of schematics for troubleshooting mechanical systems.(optional)
- Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts.
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent values safety, and continuous learning!
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
