We are currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to work with children in a school setting. The right candidate will have experience working in the education sector with an emphasis on children in school.
Licensed or Willingness to Obtain Mississippi SLP license
Master‘s Degree and ASHA CCC required
Guaranteed Hours/Cancellations
Indirect and Direct Hours compensated at same rate
Candidate must be comfortable working as a 1099 contractor
Once monthly direct deposit
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individual Education Programs for students who qualify for speech and/or language services, which may include direct individual or group therapy, consulting, and/or monitoring of progress
- Perform speech and language evaluations to include observations if necessary.
- Confer with appropriate personnel about student services/needs.
- Make recommendations regarding service delivery and the student's needs to the IEP team for team consensus.
- Attend meetings, such as IEP meetings and conferences.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate professional records and reports
- Provide consultation/training to classroom staff regarding speech and language needs and programs of the students.
Pay: $58.00 - $60.00 per hour
