Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician and/orTrainee to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare and pharmacy sectors. The Technician Trainee will work closely with experienced professionals to learn the essential skills needed to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Support patient service initiatives by providing accurate information regarding medications and treatments.
- Participate in patient intake processes, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with healthcare providers.
- Gain familiarity with medical terminology relevant to acute care and critical care settings.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards
- Accurately fill and prepare prescriptions in a timely manner
- Assist in third party processing and related tasks
- Maintain and Operate a cash register and its POS functions
- Assist in all facets of inventory management

Work Experience
Pharmacy Technician with Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License
Trainee must qualify for Established Pharmacy Technician Training Program and complete in time allocated to maintain position.

- High School or equivalent

Pay: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
