We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our employees, clients, visitors, and community partners. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping an office running efficiently.
As our Receptionist, you will play an essential role in supporting daily operations, maintaining confidential records, assisting with compliance requirements, and providing administrative support to the Program Director and site staff.
Compensation: $19.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM 8 hours per day
Location: 1147 N. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92801
**4-week training will take place at 1524 E. Mayfair Ave., Orange, CA 92867
What You'll Do
Front Office & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, vendors, and employees professionally
- Answer phones and direct calls appropriately
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate ordering
- Assist with opening and closing office procedures
- Create employee and client ID badges
- Support administrative projects and day-to-day office operations
- Occasionally travel to the post office or bank as needed
Administrative & Records Management
- Maintain electronic and paper personnel and client records
- Update rosters, spreadsheets, and SharePoint files
- Prepare client welcome packets and intake materials
- Support new hire onboarding and employee offboarding
- Monitor employee credential and document expiration dates
- Conduct personnel file audits to ensure compliance
- Assist with employee communications and internal postings
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Operational Support
- Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor communications
- Maintain contact directories and facility compliance records
- Assist management with reports and administrative projects
- Support attendance tracking and month-end documentation
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred
- Two or more years of receptionist, administrative, or office support experience
- Experience maintaining confidential records
- Experience using SharePoint or electronic document management systems
Additional Requirements
- Valid California driver's license may be required based on business needs.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform routine office duties.
