American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU night shift position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

ICU setting within a specialized heart hospital

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

No on-call responsibilities

Epic EMR used; experience required

Telemetry monitoring required

Ventilator management required

Active OH or Compact RN license required

Required certifications (AHA-issued only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Proficient in IV insertion

Experience with telemetry monitoring

Competency with ventilator management

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no coworker references accepted

Local candidates are accepted

Previous travel nursing experience is preferred

Former employees of this facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an offer — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
