We are seeking a dynamic Family Law Attorney to join our legal team on a contractual basis. You will need a minimum of two years experience and be in good standing with the Texas Bar. Strong Advocate a plus.

In this role, you will provide agreements, and represent clients in negotiations and litigation related to divorce, child custody, visitation, enforcements, adoptions, protective orders, and support matters ( All family law related matters). Your energetic approach and strong negotiation issues with confidence and clarity. - Draft, review, and negotiate family law agreements including divorce settlements, custody arrangements, and support agreements.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings related to family law disputes.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare legal documents with precision, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements.
- Provide clear legal advice to clients regarding their rights and options in family law matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving estate planning, , or other related areas when necessary.
- Maintain detailed case files, track case progress, and communicate effectively with clients throughout the legal process.
- Maintain Professional demeanor and be dependable.
- We cover a large portion of the DFW area, and the outer rural areas including, but not limited to, Parker, Wise, Denton, Johnson, and Hood counties.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in family law practice, including litigation and negotiation of at least two years experience.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as Westlaw.
- , and misdemeanor criminal is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear legal drafting and administrative documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective legal research and apply findings accurately.
- Prior experience working in a busy law office environment with strong organizational skills.

Pay: $30.00 - $70.00 per hour
