Job Order: Maintenance Manager & Electrical Administrator
Location: Vancouver Export Terminal – Port of Vancouver, WA
Salary: Up to $190,000 DOE
Overview:
Seeking a Maintenance Manager & Electrical Administrator to lead all maintenance and electrical operations at a large grain export terminal. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient terminal operations while overseeing maintenance teams, contractors, capital projects, and regulatory compliance.
Key Qualifications:
- Washington State Certified Electrical Administrator (preferred/required, but candidates without certification will still be considered)
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience
- Experience managing maintenance budgets, purchasing, and capital projects
- Strong knowledge of safety, compliance, and preventative maintenance programs
- Experience working with union trades (IBEW Electricians, Millwrights, Longshore preferred)
- PLC and industrial control systems experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills in a fast-paced industrial environment
Responsibilities:
- Lead all maintenance and electrical operations for the export terminal
- Manage maintenance supervisors, electricians, millwrights, and contractors
- Oversee preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, shutdowns, and capital projects
- Manage budgets, purchasing, estimating, and contractor coordination
- Serve as the facility's Electrical Administrator and ensure Washington State compliance
- Partner with Operations and Safety to maximize equipment reliability
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, with on-call responsibility for a 24/7 operation
- Maintenance crews work rotating 12-hour day/night schedules
Ideal Backgrounds:
Paper mills, grain terminals, port operations, manufacturing, food processing, malt production, bulk material handling, conveyor systems, or other heavy industrial environments.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
