American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and Epic proficiency.

Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
-
13-week travel assignment
-
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 1845-0715)
-
No block scheduling; flexibility required
-
Experience with Magnesium Sulfate drips and C-Sections required
-
Floating to Post-Partum unit required based on patient care needs
-
Uses Epic EMR system
-
Active Washington (WA) RN license or compact license required, in hand
-
Minimum 3 years of L&D nursing experience in a unit with comparable volumes and acuity

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
-
Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
-
Prior travel nursing experience required

Epic charting experience required
-
Experience with high-risk deliveries, C-Section circulation/scrub, and obstetric emergencies preferred
-
Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care including fetal monitoring, medication administration, and newborn care
-
Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-Sections, and management of obstetric complications such as pre-eclampsia, hemorrhage, and preterm labor

Support antepartum and postpartum patients with condition-specific care needs

Complete facility-required orientation modules signed off by unit managers
-
Requested time off (RTO) must be 5 days or less and disclosed prior to assignment start, with no changes permitted afterward
-
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers

Travel pairs accepted
-
Former staff must have been separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year to be considered for a travel assignment
