Life Works is looking for a The Community Inclusion Specialist to provide opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop, plan & participate in activities in the community. This position requires an individual to be enthusiastic and creative while supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities activities identified by program participants.

Previous experience working with individuals with Developmental /Intellectual disabilities is a PLUS
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must complete and pass department background check to include FBI fingerprint check
Must be able to squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, be able to lift at least 50 pounds (or ¼ own body weight), push and pull against potential resistance; and be able to implement non-physical and physical interventions and CPR with people supported when needed.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen (does NOT include THC)
Must be able to put client needs as a number one priority
Ability to problem solve, be flexible, creative and adaptable
Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
