The IT Business Coordinator is responsible for: ensuring that all administrative functions within the department are completed in an effective and efficient manner; providing advanced-level fiscal support to administer procurement, distribution and payment for orders placed by the Department, to oversee budget spending; and to manage the cell phones and HP lease orders.
- Compile financial reports and create a comprehensive financial report for all of the IT Managers.

Assist in preparation and monitoring of the annual department budget.

Coordinate change to the IT Budget and ensure appropriate corrections of errors with the finance and departments.

Track all headcount in the IT department and ensure those lists reconcile with the HR and reports.

Track all open positions (full time and contract) and drive the recruiting process to ensure we are recruiting aggressively and staffing our open positions with the most qualified resources on a timely basis.

Maintain a list of all active vendors and associated IT vendor Relationship Managers to ensure that contracts are reviewed, negotiated, updated and renewed in a timely fashion.

Coordinate meetings to best meet the schedules of all attendees.

Maintain a Customer Relationship Database for the CIO to ensure meetings with the departments follow a regular schedule and that the meetings are comprehensive.

Maintain the IT dashboard of measures and metrics to ensure IT has visibility to the most important performance indicators.

Manage the county owned cell phones, process orders, reconcile invoices, and track assets.

Coordinate and manage HP lease order and all items that are desktop related.

Make recommendations and provide advice, guidance and assistance to Department regarding policies, practices and procedures.

Perform other duties, tasks and special projects, as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:

Associates degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of five years of job-related experience.

Strong writing/composition skills.

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of county management.
