Description:
The Parts Associate will be responsible for managing and organizing parts inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. This role does not involve direct customer interaction, but does involve vendor interaction by placing orders, and exchanges/returns/cores.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts and supplies.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records of parts going to the shop.

Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as necessary to ensure adequate supply.

Quality Assurance: Inspect parts for quality and report any discrepancies or defects.

Warehouse Organization: Ensure parts are stored in an orderly and accessible manner while keeping the parts department clean.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and technicians.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory management or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, hydraulics, or garbage bodies is a plus. Ability to drive a forklift. 1 year or more of automotive or diesel parts experience.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy parts and supplies as needed.
