2- Full-Time Mobile Phlebotomy positions available in Flint
*Hiring at 2 locations:
Location 1-
Monday-Friday- 7:30am - 3:00pm
Drives as far as Bay City and currently once a week to East Lansing. Company car stationed in Flint at Drawsite: 5039 Villa Linde
Location 2-
Monday-Friday 8:30- 5:00pm
Will draw walk-ins, urgent care patients and for a few offices in the area. In between draws, they will check e-fax for Mobile orders and organize a schedule for the Mobile phlebotomist.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts specimen collection, sometimes directly observed.
- Gathers, verifies and enters patient data.
- Orders and maintains supplies.
- Great communicator with patients and employees
- Maintains cleanliness of the collection area.
- Assists the client services team in correcting discrepancies.
- Follows company policies, guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Meets continuous process improvement and/or standardization initiatives.
Education, Experience and Training
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Phlebotomy Certification/ Diploma required.
- Must have minimum 1+ years of phlebotomy experience in a doctors office or hospital setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of related organizational policies to administer patient care.
- Must be very organized and confident in venipuncture.
- Working knowledge of computers, especially word, excel and medical software.
