Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and other machinery to perform tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment operation logs, inspection reports, and work progress documentation.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, and related machinery.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety practices and operational procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving trucks.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics related to heavy equipment operation.
