Serve as the main point of contact within the organization for resolution of underwriting questions and issues.

Foster a collaborative environment within the organization.

Represent the organization with professionalism and integrity when dealing with client, and underwriters.
Responsibilities

Monitor the MC Underwriting inbox and resolve title insurance underwriting issues and questions.

Review title claims files together with requests for underwriter reimbursement and make recommendations on whether the company owes their deductible to an underwriter.

Provide regular reporting on underwriting issue escalations and claims files to identify trends and recommend remedial training.

Assist in preparation and participation in underwriter audits.

Track deadlines to ensure regulatory documents related to title insurance are filed in a timely manner.
Required skills and qualifications

Five or more years of experience in title insurance underwriting and claims handling.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment where time management and communication skills are needed to meet deadlines and avoid regulatory penalties.

For California, Colorado, and New York applicants, the salary for this role ranges from $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
