Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential construction sites, adhering to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and modify piping systems efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting of plumbing components.
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining attention to detail during remodeling or renovation projects.
- Collaborate with construction teams, HVAC specialists, carpenters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of plumbing work.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing installations, identify issues using schematic diagrams, and execute repairs or adjustments promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and compliance with safety standards on each site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or related fields with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding for installation and repair tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, HVAC plans, and mechanical drawings confidently.
- Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with remodeling projects, carpentry skills, handyman experience preferred for versatile job performance.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding construction environments safely.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is a plus for site mobility.
