Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. (Possible Saturdays)
Job Summary
Martin Trucking is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work at our single-site operation. The operator will be responsible for running wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, and a stone crusher in a safe and efficient manner. This is a full-time position with steady hours and no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, dozers, excavators, and a stone crusher.
- Load trucks with stone, aggregate, or other materials.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance such as fueling and greasing.
- Ensure safe operation and compliance with all company and site safety protocols.
- Communicate equipment issues or repair needs to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment (loaders, dozers, excavators required; crusher experience preferred).
- Knowledge of safe equipment operation and site safety practices.
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus, not required).
