Key Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and Fabricate Menu Items: Prepare and assemble menu items using Ellie's recipes, with special attention to regular and seasonal or special-tasting menu items.

Master Food Prep Procedures: Memorize and execute portion sizes, prep tasks, and all basic cooking techniques specific to Ellie's kitchen standards.

Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain high cleanliness standards in all food prep and storage areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Stocking and Organization: Ensure the kitchen line is properly stocked with sufficient ingredients for service, keeping ingredients organized and accessible.

Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly and coordinate with fellow cooks and front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth, efficient service.

Plating and Presentation: Ensure all dishes are consistently plated according to the chefs presentation standards. Pay attention to details of each dish's visual appeal and portioning.

Position Type: Part-Time
Shift Outlook: Friday-Sunday evenings 3pm-9pm. If in culinary school, MUST be available to work during school breaks or have flexibility, and be available to work during summer. We are looking for a year commitment + from any candidate.
Performance Schedule: 90-day informal check-in, 9-12 month formal review

$17-18/hr. Dependent on experience (seeking intermediate culinary line experience to start!)
- Compensation is determined by experience and performance. Additional compensatory packages and options are at the Proprietor's discretion and are determined annually.
