The Oso Pet Care Center is a brand new veterinary hospital in center of Mission Viejo and looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and pet loving individuals to join our team. We are a two doctor practice focusing on giving quality care for our clients' pets. We are a full service hospital with: digital x-rays, dental suite, surgical suite, scope unit (for endoscopy, laparoscopy, etc), and therapeutic laser.
The candidate must be comfortable talking to clients. They must have basic veterinary knowledge on vaccinations, as well as familiarity on common medications, illnesses, and procedures.

TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Depending on the individual's skill set: animal restraint, injections, venipuncture, IV catheters, monitoring during anesthesia, etc
- Surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring
- RVT's be able to do dental and take dental x-rays will be positive on the decision.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital
- Answering the phone
- Run in-house lab work
- Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments
- Checking in/out clients
- 2 years of veterinary experience required
- RVT license and/or ample veterinary experience desired
- Have proficient computer skills (we will use Ezyvet as practice software)
- Able to take verbal and written directions
- Communicate well with team members
Salary: depends on work experience
