Adjunct Instructors within the College of Professional Studies (CPS) are critical to the success of UNE’s online programs. The role of the instructor in CPS is to facilitate the learning process for online students through timely and effective instruction and communication. Instructors also serve as mentors, sharing their experience to guide students and ensure they achieve their educational and professional goals. The instructor supports student retention by creating a positive educational environment that allows students to derive maximum benefit from the program in which they are enrolled. Instructors receive supervision, collaboration, and guidance from the UNE Online Science Prerequisites for Health Professions (SPHP) Program.
