Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Plumber to lead and execute complex plumbing projects across residential and commercial sites. As a Licensed Master Plumber, you will oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. Duties
- Lead and manage plumbing teams on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install, repair, or upgrade plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory compliance standards
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of domestic water systems, heavy lifting tasks, pipe threading, welding, and assembly of plumbing components using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct site inspections to analyze building code compliance, identify potential issues with construction plans or existing systems, and implement effective solutions
- Manage construction estimating processes for plumbing projects by assessing materials, labor needs, and project scope
- Supervise field service activities including troubleshooting plumbing system failures and performing routine maintenance on complex systems such as HVAC-related plumbing components
- Oversee the management of construction projects from start to finish while maintaining safety protocols and managing construction site experience requirements
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project progress, timelines, and technical details
- Ensure all work complies with construction site safety standards while managing heavy lifting tasks and the use of specialized equipment like pipe threading machines
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing system installation, repair, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings
- Strong understanding of local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory compliance standards
- Proven ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and heavy lifting techniques safely
- Experience in managing plumbing teams effectively while supervising field service operations on construction sites
- Ability to perform construction estimating with precision for materials and labor costs based on project scope
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems integration with plumbing infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze building code issues or remodeling challenges quickly
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, team members, and regulatory agencies
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizing or system capacities
- Carpentry experience beneficial for framing or remodeling projects involving plumbing integration
- Valid license as a Master Plumber demonstrating advanced expertise in the field
