Position Title: OPC (Off Property Contact)
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Purpose:
We are seeking an energetic, persuasive, and results-driven OPC Marketer to generate qualified leads and drive tour traffic to our timeshare resort or vacation ownership properties. As the first point of contact with potential buyers, you will engage with guests and visitors in high-traffic off-property locations to invite them to attend a preview presentation of our resort offerings. This is a hourly versus commission-based, high-energy sales role ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilitie
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Approach and engage vacationing guests, couples, and families in high-traffic off-property locations.
- Qualify prospects using established criteria: age, marital/cohabitation status, minimum household income, and vacation habits
- Identify and prioritize high-potential prospects who meet tour eligibility requirements.
Tour Invitation & Appointment Setting
- Invite qualified prospects to attend a complimentary resort preview/tour presentation.
- Clearly communicate tour details: location, date, time, duration, and what to expect.
- Schedule confirmed appointments using company CRM or booking systems.
- Provide written confirmation and reminder materials to minimize no-shows
Incentive Presentation.
- Offer and explain promotional gifts, resort credits, discounted activities, or other premiums tied to tour attendance.
- Ensure all incentive offers are presented ethically, accurately, and in compliance with company policy
Guest Relationship Building.
- Build quick rapport through friendly, professional conversation.
- Create excitement and positive anticipation about the resort destination and vacation experience.
- Address initial questions, concerns, or objections with confidence and transparency.
Performance & Quota Management
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly tour booking quotas
- Track personal performance metrics (contacts made, qualified leads, appointments set, show rates)
- Maintain high show-rate for scheduled appointments through effective follow-up
Brand Representation
- Serve as a professional brand ambassador at all times
- Maintain company standards for appearance, conduct, and messaging
- Ensure all guest interactions reflect positively on the resort and ownership brand
Market Intelligence & Feedback
- Report guest objections, common questions, and competitive offers observed in the field
- Provide feedback to management on location performance, traffic patterns, and prospect quality
- Suggest improvements to pitch strategies, locations, or incentive structures
General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:
- High School diploma/GED referred.
- Maintain a performance criterion that is measured by monthly sales report.
