We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, load unloading.The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks for the transportation of freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Weekly Pay: $1000–$1500 based on routes and availability
- Over-the-Road Driving: Multi-day trips required – must be comfortable with extended travel
- Flexible Schedule: High availability preferred – work when the loads are moving
- Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies.
Skills
- Proficient in operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers.
- Skilled in ELD (Electronic Logging Devices)
- Familiar with BOLs (Bills of Lading)
- Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation.
- Experience with route driving and navigating different terrains.
- Ability to load and unload freight efficiently and safely.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records
- 5 years of clean driving history
- Must be 30 years or older
- Professional, reliable, and road-ready
