Job Description
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, Your role will be working on the security strategy governing the application and cloud-based platform infrastructure. You will work with other infrastructure, DevOps, and application engineers to understand the product and business needs, provide expertise around application and cloud service development.

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, Your role will be working on the security strategy governing the application and cloud-based platform infrastructure. You will work with other infrastructure, DevOps, and application engineers to understand the product and business needs, provide expertise around application and cloud service development.
- Work directly with the Development team and possibly also the Test/QA team, to test system integrity
- Good knowledge on Test driven development.
- Be able to design and implement a set of standard procedures to be used for: build, deployment, and configuration management
- Can run build verification tests on implemented designs
- Able to help integrate automated test scenarios into CI/CD pipelines; experience with AWS deployments will also be helpful
- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
- Able to handle code deployments in all environments
- Can monitor metrics and identify ways to improve
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on the particulars of DevOps-based development and deployment
- Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages
- Automation of security testing
- Implementing Container Network security
- Understanding and turning feedback from security analysis tools into infrastructure improvements
- Tracking and detecting new vulnerabilities and their remediation
- 7+ years of DevOps and Security domain
- Must have Git experience either GitLab or GitHub
- Expert-level knowledge of python (2 and 3) – prototypical inheritance, scope and closures
- 3+ years experience with Django
- 2+ years experience of Atlassian Jira/Confluence
- Experience with Jenkins and Artifactory
- Familiar with DevOps tools Jenkins, Docker, SaltStack, Puppet/Chef, and Ansible
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
- Network, SAN storage, AWS, Kubernetes, Security scans knowledge is a plus
- Understanding of OWASP
- Good understanding about IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
- Experience on different Threat Modeling Methodology (STRIDE, PASTA, NIST, SAST)
- Hands- on experience on Container Security tools (Aqua, Falco) including scanning the containers, scanning the registry, runtime monitoring of containers and container orchestration environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
