Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring smooth operations in inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Ensures the accuracy of shipments received and their supporting documentation
- Performs documented inspections of inbound and outbound carriers
- Performs documented inspections of all products, packaging materials, labels, supplies, and other goods received for damage and contamination
- Handles the shipment of all outgoing orders ensuring accuracy of the shipments and supporting documentation
- Handles rejected and non-conforming products and returns
- Conducts regularly-scheduled physical inventories of products held in storage and manages inventory records
- Coordinates the release of all components working closely with Quality Assurance
- Maintains inventory of packaging components on an ongoing basis
- Responsible for coordinating the transfer of packaging component lots with applicable approval documents(COC for packaging)
- Maintains shipping and receiving log books
- Works with the pest control provider to ensure effective control of pests in warehouse areas
- Ability to meet physical requirements throughout the day including standing, sitting and walking
- Repeated twisting and lifting while storing and pulling inventory from shelves. Regular lifting requirements up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of approximately 50 pounds
- Must Operate HILO, electric pallet jack and forklift when necessary
- Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Manager and follows up to ensure corrective action has or will take place
- Visually compares product components against one another to assess/detect manufacturing variations for approval or disapproval
- Neat, organized, prompt, team player, ability to multitask and works well under pressure
- Participates in internal, customer and regulatory audits as required
- Exceptional penmanship and great verbal and written communication skills
- Must read and write in English
- Must have own transportation to move between buildings when necessary
- Must have Microsoft experience and computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems
- Experience with warehouse distribution processes and warehouse management systems
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, including reach trucks and order pickers
- Familiarity with mechanical operations related to warehouse functions
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift
- Knowledge of construction or manufacturing processes is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
