Duties:
- We are seeking an Avionics Tech with experience in the removal, installation, troubleshooting and testing of all types of Avionics systems.
- Avionics Technicians will be performing testing, troubleshooting and repair on various avionics systems on primarily GA aircraft.
Required Experience:
- 4 years recent avionics experience.
- Wire repair knowledge
- Multimeter/Megohmmeter, Pitot/Static test equipment, Transponder test equipment.
- Reading schematics, and building wire harnesses in accordance with schematics.
- Building Coax cables.
- Soldering switches, pins, posts, etc.
Preferred Experience:
· Garmin installation and troubleshooting experience.
· Previously held Repairman’s certification, A&P license, VII level (military), or CDQAR (military).
· GA and Corporate aircraft experience
· FLIR experience.
Essential Job Functions:
- Repair and maintain communication, navigation, GPS, FMS, WX Radar and other avionics related systems.
- Perform troubleshooting of all systems installed on the aircraft.
- Remove existing avionics and install new avionics components and systems, including planning, engineering, installation, configuration and final testing.
- Perform all aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations.
- Accurately document all work performed.
- Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other tasks assigned.
- Some occasional travel may be required.
