Perform, manage, and oversee land surveying projects including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, record drawing surveys, and construction staking services.
Prepare, review, and approve survey maps, legal descriptions, plats, and related survey documents.
Supervise, train, mentor, and support survey field crews and technical staff.
Review field data, calculations, and survey deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Conduct boundary research and resolve survey discrepancies.
Coordinate survey activities with engineers, planners, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Ensure compliance with state statutes, local ordinances, and professional surveying standards.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
Maintain organized project records and ensure timely project completion.
Promote and enforce safe work practices in both field and office environments.
Represent the company during client meetings and project discussions.
Support additional project and company initiatives as required.
Minimum 5 years of relevant land surveying experience.
Strong knowledge of boundary law, land surveying principles, and state regulations.
Experience using survey equipment and data collection technologies.
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred.
Experience supervising survey crews and technical staff preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
Experience using industry-standard surveying software preferred.
Experience working with public agencies and survey recording processes preferred.
Project management experience preferred.
Business development experience preferred.
