Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Sierra Vista, AZ area as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers the flexibility of providing services virtually (Voco SLP), making it ideal for professionals seeking to balance their schedule and make a significant impact with a manageable caseload.
There are two roles available: one general SLP role serving both K-8 and a few high school students, and a second role specifically for a bilingual Spanish-speaking clinician working exclusively with K-8th grade students.
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona SLP license is required
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is mandatory
- For the bilingual role, fluency in Spanish is needed
- Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
- Confidence in delivering virtual speech and language services
Role Details & Responsibilities:
- Contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 22, 2027
- Flexible commitment: up to 10 hours per week, with scheduling adaptable to your preference (single day or split across days)
- School operational hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Manage a caseload of approximately 16 students per assignment, providing therapeutic interventions and support to K-8th (and for one assignment, also two high schoolers)
- Complete evaluations, ongoing therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educational teams and families – all delivered virtually
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with educational goals
