We are currently seeking a skilled and leliable line cook to join our kitchen team.
Job Summary
The upper scale advanced skill dining Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s standards. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, precision, and a deep understanding of culinary techniques to maintain the elevated dining experience expected in a fine dining establishment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experiencein a full-service restaurant
- Experience in Japanese or Asian cuisine preferred.
- Advanced Knife skills (chopping, slicing, portioning)
- High-level proficiency on at least one station (sauté, grill, fish, or hot apps)
- Reading tickets and pacing courses correctly
- Anticipating next pushes and prepping ahead
- Catching and correcting mistakes before food leaves the kitchen
- Understanding how their station affects the whole line
- Strong temperature control and doneness accuracy
- Sauce work: reductions, emulsions, pan sauces
- Ability to adjust seasoning and texture without a recipe
- Consistent plating at service speed
