We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing security team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will work closely with IT, infrastructure, cloud, and compliance teams to identify vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and implement security best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats, incidents, and security alerts.
- Perform continuous security monitoring using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security audits across enterprise environments.
- Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities through timely patch management and mitigation strategies.
- Implement and maintain endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and network security controls.
- Investigate phishing attempts, malware infections, ransomware incidents, and other cyber threats.
- Develop and maintain incident response procedures, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity processes.
- Collaborate with IT, cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to strengthen enterprise security architecture.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry frameworks.
- Prepare security reports, dashboards, risk assessments, and executive-level documentation.
- Stay informed on emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and security technologies while recommending continuous improvements.
- Mentor junior security team members and promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Security Operations Center (SOC), or Security Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, endpoint security, and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, or LogRhythm.
- Experience with EDR/XDR tools including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, or VMware Carbon Black.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, web application firewalls (WAF), and email security solutions.
- Experience performing vulnerability assessments using Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7 InsightVM, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with cloud security services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, Windows, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with incident response, threat intelligence, digital forensics, and malware analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC, CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Security Operations Analyst.
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK, Zero Trust Architecture, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for security automation.
- Experience supporting DevSecOps and cloud-native security initiatives.
