This full-time, onsite position welcomes travel professionals looking to experience a close-knit district setting. The district includes 3,650 students and offers a collaborative atmosphere among educators and support staff. The exact caseload will be finalized before the school year starts, but may include up to 60 students, ensuring variety and professional growth.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable supporting a range of needs from general to moderate/severe disabilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students at two school sites
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district/state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
