Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Showroom Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face and expert guide for customers exploring our premium product offerings. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate products effectively, including lighting fixtures, furniture, and interior design elements, using technical proficiency and product demos
- Assist clients with layout design, lighting design, and renovation ideas using tools like SketchUp or CAD software when needed
- Provide detailed product information, including specifications, features, and benefits to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage inside sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cashing out processes with precision
- Build strong customer relationships through personalized service, follow-up communication, and excellent customer service skills
- Follow up with leads weekly.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales with a focus on high-end products or interior design solutions
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and Shopify systems for client management
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently while maintaining customer trust
- Knowledge of renovation processes, remodeling projects, construction experience preferred
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Expertise in lighting design, fixture sales, merchandising, and product demos to enhance customer engagement
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly convey product benefits and technical details
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and maintain showroom presentation standards
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations including discounts, measurements, and pricing adjustments
