Join our dynamic financial services team as a Consumer Loan Manager, where you will lead the end-to-end loan process for personal and consumer financing products. Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire consumer loan lifecycle, including application review, approval, and servicing, ensuring adherence to lending policies and regulatory requirements such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and FNMA guidelines.
- Lead and mentor a team of loan officers, fostering a high-performance environment focused on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Manage loan origination processes using financial software and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel data analysis for risk assessment and credit analysis.
- Ensure all loans comply with banking regulations, industry standards, and internal policies related to mortgage services, commercial lending, and financial sales.
- Conduct detailed lending analysis to evaluate member creditworthiness, risk factors, and collateral valuation in accordance with commercial banking expertise.
- Collaborate with members to communicate loan options, clarify contracts, and provide guidance on financial products while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Monitor loan processing timelines, review documentation for accuracy, and coordinate with underwriting teams to facilitate smooth loan approvals and disbursements.
- Work with and provide guidance to loan resolution department.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in loan origination, HELOC services, or commercial lending with a strong understanding of banking regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or supervising a team of loan officers or financial professionals.
- Extensive knowledge of industry regulations such as TILA, FNMA standards, and banking compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software applications, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis), and basic math skills including 10-key typing.
- Strong member communication skills with the ability to explain complex contracts and lending options clearly.
- Experience analyzing credit reports, conducting risk assessments in commercial lending scenarios, and managing loan processing workflows.
- Familiarity with HELOC lending processes, loan servicing procedures, and industry best practices in financial sales.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
