As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Lead to oversee and support our team of drivers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Job Summary:
The Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of truck drivers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, optimizing delivery schedules, and maintaining high standards of service. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle operational challenges efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of truck drivers to achieve operational goals.
· Coordinate schedules, routes, and dispatch to maximize efficiency.
· Monitor driver performance, address concerns, and provide feedback for improvement.
· Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, FedEx operational standards, and company policies.
· Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop strategies for improving service and efficiency.
· Assist in training new drivers and conducting regular performance evaluations.
· Address and resolve any driver issues, accidents, or violations promptly.
· Maintain accurate records of driver hours, routes, and performance metrics.
· Must be able to cover linehaul runs in case of a call-off or vacation.
· Facilitating load rescues in case of breakdowns and or accidents
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
· Must have a Class A driver’s license with a double endorsement.
· Experience with doubles is not required – We provide the training.
· Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred but not a necessity
· Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and logistics operations.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
· Proficiency in using logistics ELD software systems.
Must have a Class A drivers license with a doubles endorsement. Experience with doubles is not needed. We will exclusively train you on doubles. Must have one year of verifiable tractor trailer experience.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
