Duties
- Lead outdoor water aerobics classes that incorporate diverse routines such as kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, and dance-inspired movements to cater to various fitness levels and interests
- Design and adapt program sessions based on participant needs, physiology principles, and body mechanics to maximize safety and effectiveness
- Demonstrate proper techniques for water exercises, including cycling movements and sports coaching elements, ensuring correct form and injury prevention
- Foster an energetic and inclusive environment by motivating participants through clear instructions and positive reinforcement
- Monitor participant safety throughout classes, providing modifications or assistance as needed to accommodate different abilities
- Promote upcoming classes and fitness programs to encourage ongoing participation and engagement
- Maintain equipment and ensure the outdoor aquatic area remains clean, safe, and inviting for all attendees
Qualifications
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on water-based activities; certifications in Water Aerobics or Aquatic Fitness are highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics related to aquatic exercise and general fitness training
- Expertise in program design that integrates diverse disciplines such as CrossFit principles, personal training techniques, yoga, Pilates, cycling, dancing, and sports coaching
- Ability to teach multiple fitness styles including kickboxing, gym-based workouts, health club routines, and specialized classes like Pilates or yoga
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants of all ages and fitness levels
- Certifications or experience in health club management or fitness sales are a plus but not required
- Passion for outdoor fitness environments with a proactive attitude towards safety and participant well-being

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
