Summary: The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of greenhouse products to retail stores, distributors, across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. This role plays a vital part in representing the company on the road, ensuring that all deliveries uphold the company’s standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Safely operate noncommercial vehicles to transport greenhouse products, plants, and related materials to destinations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland.
- Load and unload products carefully to maintain quality and prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip, in route, and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and shipping documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, logistics staff, and customers to ensure efficient route planning and on-time deliveries.
- Follow all federal, state, provincial, and local traffic regulations and safety procedures.
- Assist in warehouse or greenhouse operations when not driving, as needed (e.g., loading assistance, product organization).
- Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining a clean vehicle and courteous demeanor.
- Other duties assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road (OTR) or regional delivery experience preferred but not required.
- Experience handling perishable, live, or delicate products (horticultural or agricultural experience a plus).
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA medical and safety requirements.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable utilizing a lift gate to load/unload products at customer locations when needed.
