Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Shift House Manager Level 1 (L1ma) to oversee the safety, well-being, and daily planning of our residential care facility during overnight hours. This vital role ensures that residents receive compassionate, high-quality care while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about supporting individuals with diverse needs, including seniors and residents requiring memory or dementia care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while working in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
Duties
- Monitor overnight staff for attnednace and effectiveness
- Train and assist with hiring of overnight staff
- Monitor residents’ overall health status using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and document changes accurately
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming
- Respond promptly to emergency situations or incidents, providing first aid and coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Support residents with memory care needs by implementing behavior management strategies and engaging them in meaningful activities
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by overseeing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring infection control standards are met
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, residents’ families, and healthcare providers to promote transparency and coordinated care
- Scheduled on call and ability to assist in staffing
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home & community care environments
- Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s support strategies, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment and medication administration accurately following protocols
- First aid certification and experience responding to medical emergencies confidently
- Familiarity with Quickmar systems for documentation and resident record keeping
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to resident support
- Capable of operating mobility aids such as sit to stand lifts and assisting with ADLs effectively

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
