Job Description:
Texar Metals is currently seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Driver / Field Equipment Operator to join our team. This position combines driving responsibilities with hands-on work at job sites, supporting metal operations and equipment handling.
This is a dual-role position ideal for someone comfortable both behind the wheel and working in the field performing manual labor and operating machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Perform manual labor tasks at job sites
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with general site operations and team support
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL (minimum 3 years required)
- Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor job site conditions
- Experience operating machinery/equipment preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in metal, construction, or industrial environments
- Equipment operation experience (forklift, loaders, etc.)
